I am a woman in transition. I am a middle-aged recent Graduate School Grad working hard to re-invent myself from stay-at-home, homeschooling, free-lance writing Mom to professional writer, college instructor, and coordinator of foreign student exchanges. I recently recounted my professional life to my 15 year old daughter, concluding, “So, you see, I’ve never really had a career. I guess I’ve never had a career, but I’ve had a life”.
